Are
you sure visitor's will not be able to view my stats?
A:
We are the largest invisible counter service in the world.
We have secured the code to make sure that your Stats information is never sent
to your webpage - therefore making it impossible for your information to be
leaked out. In other Counter Sites the stats are always sent back to the website
even though they claim to be invisible counters.

Why do
I sometimes not get my e-mailed weekly statistics reports or sometimes get two?
A:
On occasion, we have had to restart the mail process,
thereby resulting in duplicate statistics reports for some customers. You will
not be charged for any additional reports. As to not receiving the e-mailed
weekly statistics: If the list server cannot make contact with your mail server
(e.g., if your mail server is temporarily down), it will hold your e-mail message
for re-delivery. It will make several attempts to deliver your mail, but it
will eventually give up. We do not keep old reports on file.

What
is the difference between "unique" and "all”?
A: When a visitor comes to your site he will be registered onto your stats - however if he/she continues to navigate through your site he/she may continually visit your home page. If you choose Unique then your stats will only show the one true time they came. Choosing All will take account of every time they hit your home page (ie makes you stats look bigger but not a true account!)
I
have no idea how to get my T-Counter up on my page.
A:
Log into your account and click the Admin tab, and then
the HTML Code link. Once the code page pops up, copy your code and paste it
into your Web page file using a text editor, such as Windows NotePad, or a non-WYSIWYG
Web editor. Paste the code into the body of your HTML file where you want theT-Counter
code to reside, and Save the HTML file. Upload the page right away without opening
it in any other editing program, such as Microsoft FrontPage or Netscape Composer.
We do advise you to place the code as near the TOP of your page as possible.
This is so that if someone visits your page but doesn't hang around until it
is all loaded you still get to know about it!

My
hits are not being tracked.
A:
Please remove all theT-Counter code from your page if
you have any. Now re-do the steps of copying the web code into your web page.
If you still cannot view your stats then email techsupport@t-counters.com
with your website address WITH your T-Counter code in it. We will then have
a look at your code and see what is wrong. Also please be sure to include your
account number with your inquiry.

The
counter does not detect all of the hits. I am sure some people visited.
A:
You may have configured your T-Counters account to only
detect unique hits. Which means that Live Stats are counting browser reloads,
but T-Counters did not. OR T-Counters code in your page is at the very bottom
of the page. If a person clicks on a link or leaves the page for some reason
without waiting for all page to load, he/she probably will not be counted by
the counter since pages are loaded from top to bottom, and the very last element
to load is the counter code. If neither of these are the case, please contact
techsupport@t-counters.com.
Please be sure to include your account number with your inquiry.

A:
If your Web site is in frames, T-Counters code cannot
detect the data.

Does
the counter count/track all pages within a site?
A:
The counter counts/tracks only the page on which it is
installed. If you want specific statistics for more than one page, you must
install a separate counter (with separate account number) on each page that
you want tracked. If you want to know only how many visits or visitors you receive
to the Web site in general, you could install the same counter code on all of
your pages.
